What you get

  • Your own address

Your site runs on your own domain, or on a free name.dineharbor.com address, on every plan.

  • Collection, delivery and tables

One menu serves guests collecting, guests who want delivery and guests ordering from their table with a QR code.

  • Your payment provider

Card payments go through Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, Adyen, Revolut or Square on your own account. Cash on delivery is also available.

  • Orders reach the kitchen

Every order lands in the Manager, on the till and on the kitchen screen, with an alert that keeps ringing until someone accepts it.

  • Order ahead

Switch on order ahead and guests choose a time. A scheduled order stays off the kitchen screen until it is due.

  • Four home page layouts

Pick Classic, Menu first, Showcase or Minimal, set your colours and font, and preview before you save.

What it does

DineHarbor gives every restaurant its own ordering website. Guests browse your menu with photos, prices, options and allergen information, add dishes to a basket and check out as a guest or with an account. The same site works on a phone, a tablet and a laptop.

Orders do not go to a middleman. They arrive in your own Manager app, on the till and on the kitchen screen, in the same list as orders from the till, the waiter and the kiosk.

How it works

  1. Build your menu once, or import it from a photo.
  2. Set your opening hours, your delivery area and the payment provider you already use.
  3. Choose a home page layout and your colours, then share the address or print the table QR codes.
  4. When an order arrives, the Manager, the till and the kitchen screens ring until someone accepts or rejects it.
  5. The guest gets emails at each step: confirmation, accepted, ready to collect, out for delivery.

What guests see

The menu is searchable, deals appear beside the dishes they include, and a guest can save favourites. At checkout a delivery address is suggested as they type, and the delivery fee is shown before they pay. If a guest comes back to an unpaid order, a Pay now button reopens the payment, and the page says clearly when it is still confirming a payment so nobody pays twice.

Guests can ask the website a question in plain words with Ask the menu, and see hours and a map in a Find us block.

What it replaces

It replaces a separate ordering widget, a delivery marketplace listing that charges a share of every order, or a website with a phone number on it. See commission free ordering for how the money flows.

Good to know

Your first 30 days are free, with no card needed. Branded customer apps in the App Store and Google Play are part of the Enterprise plan. Order ahead is off until you switch it on, and delivery needs a working road distance lookup, so a delivery address that cannot be measured is refused and offered collection instead.

Questions and answers

Does DineHarbor take a commission on online orders?

No. You pay your plan, and card fees go to your own payment provider. DineHarbor does not take a cut of the orders.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on every plan. If you do not have one yet, your site is live on a free name.dineharbor.com address.

How does a guest pay?

By card through the provider you connected, or cash on delivery. DineHarbor does not store guests' saved cards.

Can guests order for later?

Yes, when you switch on order ahead for a location. It is off until you do.

What happens if a guest abandons the payment page?

An unpaid online order never reaches the kitchen. The guest can resume it with Pay now, and it is cancelled after 30 minutes if it is not paid.
