What you get
Tablet only
The till runs in a browser or installs on an Android tablet, with no extra hardware to buy from us.
A card reader
Connect a Stripe smart reader and take cards at the hatch.
Orders that wait for signal
Orders queue on the device and send when the connection returns. Payments need a connection.
A QR code for your menu
Print the QR code for your ordering site, so guests can browse and order before they reach the hatch.
Receipts and tickets
Print receipts or kitchen tickets on a Bluetooth printer.
What food trucks need
A truck is a restaurant in a small space, often with weak signal. Three needs stand out.
One device that does everything. There is room for a tablet and a printer, not a rack of equipment.
Cards at the hatch. Customers expect to tap.
Signal. Pitches vary. A till that freezes without it is a till that loses sales.
The five features that matter
- The POS, on a tablet.
- Card readers, through Stripe.
- Offline mode, so orders are saved on the device.
- Printers, by Bluetooth.
- Online ordering, reached by a QR code on the truck.
A day in the life
Picture a truck setting up at a market. The owner opens the till on a tablet and connects the Bluetooth printer. A QR code on the side of the truck opens the menu so guests can browse in the queue. Orders are searched and sent, and cards are taken on the reader. When the signal drops for a few minutes, the tablet keeps taking orders and sends them when it comes back, while card payments wait for a connection. At the end of the day the shift closes with a Z-report. This is a description of how the product works, and not a customer story.
Pricing
Starter is £69 per location a month, excluding VAT, as of October 2026, and includes the till, online ordering and the Manager, with unlimited staff. See the pricing page for current figures. The first 30 days are free, with no card needed.
Try it
Open the live demo for a made-up restaurant with test data, and use the till on your own tablet.
Questions and answers
Does it work with a single tablet?
Yes. The till runs on one tablet, and you can add a phone for ordering or a printer by Bluetooth.
What if there is no signal at the pitch?
Orders queue on the device and send when it reconnects. Card payments need a connection, so bring a hotspot or a second SIM.
Can customers order before reaching the truck?
Yes, through your ordering site, which you can share with a QR code. Orders arrive on the tablet.
Do I need a kitchen screen?
No. Many trucks use the tablet itself and a small printer.
