What takeaways and fast food need

Speed and volume define this kind of restaurant. Three problems recur.

Queues at the counter. A single till limits how many orders you can take at the busiest moment. Guests who know what they want can order themselves.

Orders from everywhere. Phone, counter, kiosk, website and delivery all have to reach the kitchen without one being forgotten.

Marketplace fees. A share of every order is hard to bear when margins are thin.

The five features that matter

  1. The self order kiosk, for the counter.
  2. The drive-through lane, with voice ordering.
  3. AI voice ordering on the website, kiosk and lane.
  4. The kitchen display, one rail for every channel.
  5. Online ordering, with collection and delivery and no commission.

A day in the life

Picture a burger takeaway at lunch. A guest walks up to the kiosk, picks Arabic, scrolls through photos and builds an order. A number appears and they pay at the counter. A car arrives at the lane, the guest speaks, the assistant reads the order back and the kitchen sees it. At the same moment orders arrive from the website, each on a ticket with a timer. A ticket for a larger order is held until the first batch is done. The kitchen bumps tickets as it works, and a bumped ticket can be recalled if it was a mistake. This is a description of how the product works, and not a customer story.

Pricing

Starter is £69 per location a month, Growth £129 with the kiosk app and driver app, and Unlimited £219 with no device limits. Prices are excluding VAT, as of October 2026. See the pricing page for current figures. The first 30 days are free, with no card needed.

Questions and answers

Which plan includes the kiosk?

Growth includes 2 kiosks per location, and Unlimited has no limit. Starter does not include the kiosk.

Where do guests pay at the kiosk?

At the counter. The kiosk gives a number that guests show when they pay.

Can the lane run without staff?

The lane takes the order, but your team still takes payment at the window and hands over the food.

Does it work with delivery apps?

No. DineHarbor does not connect to Deliveroo, Uber Eats or Just Eat. It runs your own ordering site and your own drivers.
