What you get

  • Browse by picture

The kiosk always shows your dish photos, with dietary and deal badges on the image, because a guest who has never used it browses by sight.

  • Four languages

Guests pick English, Arabic, Spanish or French on the welcome screen, and the menu follows.

  • Order by voice

Add the AI voice option if you want guests to talk instead of tap, with a clear notice and a way back to touch.

  • A number for pickup

When the order is placed the guest gets a number to show at the counter, where they pay.

  • Locked for guests

A kiosk device runs without PINs and stays locked down, because it is in the customer's hands.

What it does

The kiosk lets guests order for themselves at your counter. It shows your menu as a photo grid with category tabs, lets the guest choose sizes and options, shows allergen information and dietary badges, and sends the order to your kitchen. The guest receives a number and pays at the counter.

How it works

  1. Set up a kiosk device in the Manager under Team and devices, using the front kiosk profile.
  2. Guests touch the welcome screen and choose a language.
  3. They browse by picture, choose their dishes and options and check the basket.
  4. The order is placed and appears on your kitchen display and in the Manager.
  5. The kiosk shows the guest their number. They pay at the counter, and you call the number when the food is ready.

Designed for guests who have never used it

The kiosk is the opposite of the till on purpose. The till is search first because a cashier knows the menu by heart. The kiosk always shows the catalogue photo, because a guest browses by picture and not by typing a dish name. When the kiosk resets after a guest, it returns to your restaurant's own language.

Voice and languages

Switch on voice ordering to let guests talk to an AI assistant that reads the order back before placing it. A notice tells guests they are talking to an AI, and a button takes them back to touch. Translations you enter for dishes and categories show in the guest's chosen language.

Plans and hardware

The kiosk app is part of the Growth plan and above. Choose a tablet and a stand that suit your counter, and mount it where guests can reach it. For a lane outside, see drive-through.

What it replaces

It replaces a queue at the till for guests who know what they want, and a separate kiosk vendor with its own menu to maintain.
