The film

A Friday night, sorted.

The phone that won't stop, the ticket that goes missing, the delivery app's 30% - and the DineHarbor apps that put an end to each of them. Recorded on the live demo restaurant.

AI menu import

Your menu online before your coffee goes cold.

Typing a menu into a new system takes days, and one wrong price costs you every night. DineHarbor's AI reads a photo, a PDF or pasted text and builds the whole menu for you: categories, descriptions, extras and prices. You stay in charge of every price.

The draft DineHarbor’s AI read from that photo: dishes grouped by category, each with its description and price
  1. 1. Snap or upload

Take a photo of your paper menu, or upload the PDF. Several pages at once is fine.

  2. 2. The AI reads it

Every dish, description, extra and price, sorted into categories. Anything it isn't sure about is flagged for you.

  3. 3. You confirm the prices

Nothing is saved until you've confirmed every price. A camera can make a 6 look like an 8, so each one gets your OK.

  4. 4. Live everywhere

One tap puts it on your website, till, kiosk, waiter app and kitchen screens at once.

On the demo restaurant, a two-column takeaway menu came back as 18 dishes in 5 categories, with its extra toppings and meal-deal option, after 15 to 30 seconds of reading.

The AI never writes allergen information. It can suggest allergens; a person decides.

Try it with your menu

Ask your restaurant

Ask it anything. Approve what it changes.

“How did tonight compare with last Friday?” “What isn't selling?” “Put the Napoletana up to £7.95.” DineHarbor's assistant answers in plain words from your real sales, stock and reviews. Ask for a change and it shows you exactly what will happen, then waits for your yes.

  1. 1

Ask the way you'd say it

“Put the margarita up to 5.50” finds the Margherita. Search matches dishes, customers and orders by name, misspellings included.

  2. 2

    Read exactly what will change

Before anything is written you see one sentence from the action itself, such as “Raised Margherita from £5.00 to £5.50”, not the model's paraphrase.

  3. 3

    Approve, edit or decline

Adjust the details before approving. Anything left undecided counts as declined.

  4. 4

    Undo in one tap

Each change keeps the value it replaced. Where an undo is impossible, such as money already refunded, Copilot says so instead of offering one.

The Copilot sheet open over the Manager app
Copilot in the Manager app. It asks before it changes anything.

What it can do

  • Answer: sales vs last week, top products, orders by hour, prep times, void rate by employee, stock variance, review summary
  • Change the menu: rename, rewrite descriptions, move categories, set prices, 86 and restore items, create discounts
  • Run the shift: find an order, customer, staff member or stock level; mark ready or complete; cancel; refund
  • Adjust the day: pause or resume ordering, force open or closed with a reason, change lead times, publish a drafted review reply

Limits enforced in code, not in the prompt

  • The AI never writes allergen information. Its suggestions wait for a person to confirm them.
  • Category-wide price changes over 20%, or across more than 40 products, are refused.
  • A drafted reply to a review cannot publish itself.

The product, as it is

Real screens. Real service.

Every image here is a screenshot of the live apps running the Crustwell Pizza & Grill demo restaurant. Open the demo and click through the same screens yourself.

A kitchen screen that tracks each station

Every item is tracked per station, so the pass knows exactly what is still cooking. Hold a course, pull a bumped ticket back from the recall bin, and check all-day counts.

Kitchen display at the pass showing held tickets, live tickets with timers and a row of recently bumped tickets that can be recalled

What's included

One system, front door to back office.

This is what DineHarbor does today. If something isn't listed here, it isn't built yet.

Front of house

Take the order wherever the guest is.

  • POS with split bills, tenders, tips and a blind cash close
  • Search-first till and waiter handset — type a dish, don't hunt a grid
  • A floor-plan editor: draw the room, then see live table status on it
  • Waiter ordering at the table, from that same floor plan
  • Reservations, waitlist, table combining and covers pacing

Kitchen

Calm tickets on a busy night.

  • Tickets tracked per item and per station, with courses
  • Holds, a recall bin and all-day counts
  • Printer failover that never prints a ticket twice
  • 86 once and every channel knows, with the reason shown

Online and delivery

Your own channels, not a marketplace's.

  • Branded storefront for delivery, collection and dine-in, with pages built to be found in search
  • Six home page layouts to choose from, with a live preview
  • QR table ordering, with printable table cards, tents, posters and loyalty cards
  • Tracked QR codes and a link-in-bio page for your socials and reviews
  • Delivery priced and admitted by real road distance and drive time — never a straight-line guess
  • A driver app with proof of delivery, plus Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, Adyen, Revolut and Square, plus cash

Back office

The numbers behind the night.

  • Stock, suppliers, purchase orders, blind counts, waste and variance
  • Discounts: BOGO, happy hours, stacking rules and usage caps
  • Loyalty points, a stored-value wallet and printable stamp cards in six designs
  • Sales vs last period, top items, an hourly heatmap and prep-time reports
  • Shared devices sign in as the restaurant, with session limits and a screen lock — no personal account needed for a kitchen screen or kiosk
  • Multiple branches, staff roles, two-factor sign-in and an audit log

Under the hood

Built for a Friday night.

The unglamorous parts that decide whether a system survives service.

  • Offline-first tills

The POS and waiter apps keep their data on the device and queue every write. When the connection returns the queue drains, and each write carries a key that stops it being applied twice.

  • A tamper-evident ledger

Every status change is appended to a per-branch, hash-chained event log. A refund is a new signed entry, never an edit to the old one.

  • Live on every screen

Orders, tickets and tables update over websockets, so the kitchen, the floor and the office see the same state.

  • An order that won't let itself be ignored

A new order rings on every open Manager, kitchen and till screen for the branch, not just the one that happened to get it first, and keeps ringing until a person accepts or rejects it.

  • Printer failover

When a kitchen printer stops answering, its tickets move to a backup, with two separate guards against printing anything twice.

  • Prep times from your data

Estimates come from a regression over your own order history, retrained every night, and widen when the kitchen is busy. No language model guesses them.

  • One availability record

Mark an ingredient out and the dishes that use it go unavailable everywhere, saying why, then come back at the next daypart.

Questions

Straight answers.

Including what DineHarbor doesn't do yet. Something else? Ask the concierge in the corner, or get in touch.

It reads clearly printed menus very reliably and flags anything it isn't sure about. You always see the draft first and confirm every price before anything goes live, and the AI never fills in allergens: it can only suggest them for a person to check.

No. Every plan includes a monthly AI allowance, enough for thousands of questions to the assistant, and the Manager shows exactly what you've used. If it runs out, only the AI pauses until the 1st; everything else keeps working.

Independent restaurants and small groups that want the till, the kitchen, online ordering, delivery and the back office in one system instead of five.

Every app runs in a current web browser, and each operator app also installs on Android phones and tablets. There is no iOS app yet and no separate desktop app. On a Mac, PC or iPad, use the browser.

The POS and waiter apps keep taking orders: each one is saved on the device and queued, then synced when the connection returns. Card payments still need a connection. Offline card acceptance is not switched on.

It answers questions from your own data, such as sales, top products, prep times and stock variance, and it can make the changes you ask for: prices, availability, descriptions, discounts, pausing or resuming ordering, opening or closing early, and order actions like ready, complete, cancel and refund. Each change shows a one-sentence preview and waits for your approval, and most can be undone in one tap.

Not yet. Marketplace integrations aren't built. Orders come from your own storefront, QR codes, kiosk, till and waiter apps.

Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, Adyen, Revolut and Square for online and hosted checkout, configured per branch, plus cash.

They don't need one to order — the storefront and QR codes cover that. If you want one anyway, we can build and sign a branded Android app for your restaurant on request. iOS isn't available yet.

Yes. The Crustwell Pizza & Grill demo restaurant is open to everyone, and its sign-in page lists a staff account for every role.
