Ask your restaurant a question, and run it with a yes

A copilot in the Manager that answers from your own data and proposes changes that wait for your approval.

Updated

Ask in the Manager proposing to raise the Napoletana from 7.00 to 7.95 pounds, with Approve and No buttons and an input box below

What you get

  • Answers from your data

Ask about sales, top products, orders by hour, prep times, voids, stock variance and reviews, and get answers from your own orders and menu.

  • Proposals, not surprises

Changes show a one sentence preview of what will change, and wait for a person to approve, edit or decline them.

  • Role limited

It can only do what your role allows. A waiter's Ask cannot reprice the menu.

  • Undo

Most changes undo in one tap. A refund cannot, and it says so.

  • Growth suggestions

Every night the Advisor reads your sales, stock and reviews and leaves suggestions on Today, applied through Ask with a yes.

What it does

Ask is the button on every Manager screen that lets you talk to your restaurant. Type or speak a question the way you would ask a manager, and it answers from your own orders, menu, stock and reviews. It understands dish and customer names as people say them, including misspellings.

It can also act. You can ask it to raise a price, take a dish off, mark an order ready or complete, cancel or refund. Whenever it would change something, it stops and shows you what it would do first.

How it works

  1. Open Ask from any screen, and type or press the microphone.
  2. Ask a question, such as how sales compare with last week or which dishes sold best.
  3. To change something, say so: put the Napoletana up to 7.95.
  4. The copilot looks the dish up, and shows a one sentence proposal with Approve and No.
  5. You approve, edit or decline. Approved changes can usually be undone.

Guardrails that live in code

Whether an action needs your yes is a property of what it changes, never of how confident the model is. Allergens are out of reach of the model, which can only suggest them. A price cannot be changed automatically, and a category change above 20 percent or across more than 40 products is refused. The copilot only offers what your role is allowed to do, and an order refund says it cannot be undone.

The Growth Advisor

Overnight, the Advisor reads your sales, stock and reviews and leaves a short list of suggestions on Today: add this as a meal deal, watch that ingredient, answer these reviews. The signals are computed from your own data and the AI only writes the sentence. Each suggestion is applied through Ask, with a yes.

Owners accept an AI notice before their data is sent to a model. Every AI call is logged with its feature, tokens and cost against your plan's monthly credits. The Manager lists AI providers with their cost and where they process data, and a super admin can switch features off.

What it replaces

It replaces hunting through menus for a number, and a spreadsheet of last week. For the numbers themselves see reports. Diners get their own version in Ask the menu.

Ask about your restaurant

Questions and answers

Can it change prices by itself?

No. A price change is a proposal that waits for approval, and category changes above 20 percent or across more than 40 dishes are refused.

Can I talk to it?

Yes. Press the microphone and speak. The words appear as you talk and you can fix them before sending.

Which AI model does it use?

Each restaurant chooses its provider in Settings, AI usage, from the options listed there, with the cost and where data is processed shown beside each.

What does it cost?

Each plan includes monthly AI credits, and an answer is about half a credit. Usage is logged per feature.

Is it safe with allergens?

It never writes allergen information. It can only suggest allergens for a person to confirm.
