What you get
A till built for speed
Search by name or code, tap the options and send. Photos are optional, because speed matters in the morning queue.
Stamp cards guests keep
Printed or on screen, with online orders stamping automatically.
QR ordering at the table
Guests order from their seat, and the order reaches the counter or kitchen tagged with the table.
Orders that wait for a signal
Orders are saved on the device and sent when the connection returns.
Card payments at the counter
Connect a Stripe reader to the till, with card fees set by your agreement with Stripe.
What cafes need
A cafe lives on repeat customers and quick service. Three problems matter most.
Speed at the counter. A queue at eight in the morning cannot wait for a slow till. The till has to find a flat white in two taps.
Bringing people back. Cafes lose regulars to the place next door. A stamp card is the simplest way to say thank you, but a paper card in a wallet is easily lost and cannot be counted.
A shaky connection. A cafe often has ordinary broadband. The till must not freeze because the signal dipped.
The five features that matter
- The POS, with search first ordering and card payments.
- Stamp cards and wallet, for regulars.
- QR table ordering, to keep the counter queue short.
- Offline mode, so orders are never lost to a bad signal.
- Card readers, for payment at the counter.
A day in the life
Picture a cafe in the morning. A staff member opens the till and the shift. Orders are searched by name and sent with a tap, and the drinks go to a screen or a small printer at the bar. A regular shows their card and the cashier adds a stamp at the stamp desk. When the broadband drops for a few minutes, the till keeps taking orders and sends them when it recovers, while card payments wait for the connection. Guests who sit down scan the code on the table, and their order arrives at the bar with the table number. This is a description of how the product works, and not a customer story.

Questions and answers
Is DineHarbor suitable for a small cafe?
Yes. Starter covers the till, kitchen screens, waiter phones and online ordering for one location, with unlimited staff.
Can regulars collect stamps?
Yes. Stamp cards can be printed and also live on the guest's account, and online orders add stamps by themselves.
What if the wifi drops in the middle of the rush?
Orders queue on the device and send when it is back. Card payments need a connection, so keep a hotspot as a backup.
Do I need a kitchen screen?
No. You can print tickets on a receipt printer instead, or use both.
