What it does

Stamp cards are a loyalty programme guests understand at a glance: buy so many, get one free. DineHarbor runs a real stamp programme beside points, with an append-only ledger so every stamp is accounted for. A guest can hold a printed card, or use the card on their account page.

The wallet is separate. It holds credit that a guest tops up and spends on orders, with every movement recorded.

How it works

  1. In the Manager, open Customers, then Stamp cards, and create a programme: how many stamps, and the reward.
  2. Choose a design, or upload your own artwork, and print a batch. Each card has a QR claim token.
  3. A guest scans a card to claim it. Their stamps then show on their account.
  4. Online orders add stamps by themselves. At the counter, use the stamp desk, or attach a card to a till order.
  5. At checkout a guest can redeem a finished card. A refunded order takes its stamps back.

Printing

Print sheets as A4 with ten cards, on Avery C32011 stock, or as files for a print shop with a 3 millimetre bleed. In the Android Manager the PDF opens through a short lived link in the system browser.

Know the limits

Printed card text is laid out with Latin fonts, so Arabic or other non-Latin programme text is not laid out properly on paper yet. Use the on-screen card for those languages for now.

Wallet

Guests can top up a wallet through a payment provider that supports it, and spend it on orders. Wallet credit is treated as a payment, and every top up and spend is in the customer's ledger. Read about loyalty points for the points side of the programme.

What it replaces

It replaces the punch card in a drawer, which cannot be refunded or counted, and a separate loyalty app.

Questions and answers

Can guests redeem a stamp reward online?

Yes. A stamp reward can be redeemed at checkout, and the guest can confirm with a passkey or password if you require it.

Do the cards work in Arabic?

Not yet on the printed card. Card text is laid out with Latin fonts, so Arabic and other non-Latin programme text is not laid out properly on paper.

Which payment providers allow wallet top ups?

Any provider that supports wallet top ups. Each gateway declares that capability.

Is the wallet a gift card?

No. It is stored credit per customer that they top up and spend. A separate gift card product is not offered.
