What it does

Real menus are not a list of names and prices. A pizza has sizes, toppings you can add or remove, a half and half option and a meal deal that swaps the side. The DineHarbor menu builder is designed for that, and everything you build is shared by the till, the kiosk, the website and the kitchen.

How it works

  1. In the Manager, open Menu and add categories and items. Each row opens in place with its own Save and Undo.
  2. Add sizes and option groups. Choose how each option is priced: flat, by size, by sequence or by both.
  3. Build meal deals from choice groups, and add offers from the Offers tab.
  4. Set when items are available. A window can make a dish a lunch special, and a dish switched off for the day returns at the next daypart unless you hold it off.
  5. Check the result on the till, then publish.

Options and deals

Options can have conditional rules and exclusions, and an ingredient can be removable. A half and half portion prices each half. Offers can be percentage or fixed, apply to an item or the order, buy one get one free, reach a threshold or run in a happy hour window. They can be limited to a channel, with explicit stacking groups, and usage caps are enforced exactly even when two tills claim the last redemption.

Taking a dish off

One tap takes a dish off from the till or the kitchen screen. The change reaches the website, kiosk and voice assistant, and the Manager explains why an item is unavailable, for example because an ingredient has run out.

What it replaces

It replaces a menu built separately for each system. Start from a photo with menu import, then add translations and allergens and calories.

Questions and answers

Can I sell a pizza in halves?

Yes. Half and half portions are supported, and the till, kiosk and website price them the same way.

Can a dish only be available at lunch?

Yes. Availability windows set when an item can be ordered, and an item can return at the next daypart.

What is 86ing?

Taking a dish off the menu because you have run out. One authoritative record per item is used by every channel.

Can I build the menu from a photo?

Yes. See menu import. It drafts the menu and you review it.
