Usernames, passkeys and a new look
Staff sign in with a username and PIN, no email needed, from every app, and go straight to their restaurant. Sign in with your face or fingerprint: passkeys work on the website and inside every app. A restaurant can ask diners to confirm with their passkey or password before spending wallet credit, points or a stamp reward. A new DineHarbor logo, and app icons that each carry the app’s name. Your customer app’s icon, splash screen and notifications use your own logo. The Manager app opens faster on budget tablets.

Links open the apps
A DineHarbor link on a phone or tablet opens the right app instead of the browser. Scanning a set-up QR code opens set-up with the restaurant and code filled in. A link in a Manager email opens that screen in the app.

The Driver app fits small phones
Failed and Delivered stay on the card on a 360-pixel-wide phone, and the header keeps “On shift” whole.

Report and block in staff chat
Report a chat message or block a colleague from any staff app; admins see the reports in one queue. On iPhone, the Driver app keeps the delivery trail while the screen is off. Taking a photo in chat works on iPhone.

Chat with everyone, a branch, a group or one colleague, from the till, the kitchen screen, the waiter and driver apps and Manager. Replies, reactions, photos, files, voice notes and one-to-one voice calls. Sent, delivered and seen, and a ping that pops up with a quick reply. Photo menus at the till, card readers and printing
The till shows dishes as photos, grouped by category, and Charge waits for the payment before anything is sent. Card readers (Stripe Terminal), and receipts that fill the 80 mm roll on network, Bluetooth and USB printers. Kitchen and waiter printers, and reprints from the kitchen screen. Every app fits short screens and the on-screen keyboard, and starts in the restaurant’s language. Speak to type, everywhere you can type.

Manager is organised into six hubs, with editing in place. Menus with ingredients and allergens. Stamp cards: design them, print them and stamp them at the till. Ask your restaurant questions by voice, and get suggestions to grow. New order alerts on your phone, with sounds you can tell apart.

Payments, split bills and cash-up at the till
Take payments, split bills and close the shift with a counted cash-up at the till. Voids and paid-outs need a manager’s approval. Sizes, extras and deals on the till and the kiosk. Drivers share their route only while on shift, and are told why first.
